Then it says "game cannot be played dadadadada" I've tried to look it up on Google but everyone seems to advise not to change the version for some reason.

I wouldn't mind but i cant play my games at all. I really want to play it because i haven't had one in years. All the solutions I've found tells me to download a bunch of programs and I'm confused and aggravated. Can someone please help me with any advice at all? I just want to play my games Dustin , Jan 6, Install original firmware 6. He is on a very very old hybrid style firmware which has 1. Your gonna need to update slowly. By this I mean update to 4. Had to do this myself a few times to others systems.

And I am not sure if its a slim as I think the firmware is much to old for that. But I could be wrong. If the back battery flap is flat its a slim but curved is the original series. I suggest at least a model if you wanna use emulation as they have twice the RAM the old fat ones did. Oh yea you can just pull the battery out it will tell you the model under that.

Last edited: Jan 6, My fault, it is a model, i apologize. After loading devhook you would then load a back-up game at a time from there. You would have to swap from devhoow back to 1.

You can also customize your psp relatively easily in 3. That's my understanding anyway. If I were you I would probably go with 3. With this you should be able to easily find custom: gameboots, bootsounds, icons, battery edits, fonts, soundbars, and waves. This step will take a little bit, so be patient. Now would be a good time to make sure your PSP is plugged into the power and not running off battery mode.

Step 3. Once the installer loads up press the X button to continue with the upgrade. It will now verify the data. Once the upgrade is complete you will then press X again which will turn off your PSP.

Turn the PSP back on manually. Step 4.
