Get started. There is always something going on. So what, precisely, do our student intern projects look like? In a broad sense, we are researching the variety of ways that urban environments and climate interact and relate to the concept of sustainability. Our interns learn about sustainability in the north Alabama region through in-person interviews with regional land conservation associations, federal and local government agencies, waste-to-energy and recycling service providers, water management facilities, and a range of other regional stakeholders.

NASA has always been home to some of the most exceptional interns, fostering an environment in which individuals from different backgrounds have the opportunity to flourish and express themselves in ways that contribute to the achievements of the agency. While each experience is different, each one contributes in some way to the projects that will eventually take flight in space. The majority of interns received a stipend award, but there are some volunteer opportunities noted in project descriptions.

Interns are responsible for making their own housing arrangements. This includes locating their own housing options and paying for their housing.

Citizen Cumulative 3. Educators are also eligible to apply. Opportunities, or internship projects, vary at each and for each session. You will be able to view the available opportunities for the specified session and centers. You must complete an application for each opportunity to be considered. There are filters available to help you locate specific projects that meet your skill set and desired geographic location or virtual. Because our current application system is designed to meet the needs of many STEM engagement opportunities it requires this question be answered before you can move to the next page.

Unfortunately, there are no exceptions at this time. Our branch has 60 interns and represent almost all 50 states plus Puerto Rico. I've been working heavily with data analysis techniques to characterize rotorcraft acoustic data. Also, with the acoustics group, we've designed and conducted tests in the by Foot Wind Tunnel to identify and remedy systematic errors. Lucas Webb Ames Research Center Summer Some of the things that I've been doing is researching how varying Azimuth angles affect the performance of a co-rotating rotorcraft.
